Northstar Advisory Partners is seeking a Senior Business Consultant to partner with Fortune 500 and mid-market clients on strategic initiatives that drive growth, profitability, and operational excellence. This is a high-impact, client-facing role designed for professionals who blend analytical rigor with pragmatic, executive-ready communication.
As part of our growth-focused practice, you will diagnose complex business issues, design actionable solutions, and lead cross-functional teams to deliver measurable results.
Responsibility
- Lead or co-lead client engagements, framing the problem, developing hypotheses, and guiding project delivery.
- Conduct market, financial, and operational analyses to uncover opportunities and quantify impact.
- Develop strategic roadmaps, business cases, and implementation plans with clear milestones and KPIs.
- Facilitate stakeholder workshops, present findings to executives, and secure buy-in for recommended actions.
- Drive process improvements, organizational design, and change management initiatives.
- Mentor junior consultants, contribute to proposal development, and support business development efforts.
- Ensure high-quality deliverables, on-time project execution, and client satisfaction.
Qualification
- Bachelor’s degree; MBA or related advanced degree preferred.
- 8+ years in management consulting or strategic advisory with a track record of delivering client value.
- Strong analytical skills, financial modeling expertise, and data-driven decision making.
- Exceptional communication and storytelling abilities with experience presenting to C-suite audiences.
- Proven experience in strategy, operations, or organizational design and change management.
- Ability to manage multiple workstreams, work independently, and collaborate across diverse teams.
- Proficiency in MS Excel, PowerPoint, and data visualization tools; exposure to SQL or Python is a plus.
- Willingness to travel as needed (subject to client expectations).
