GuidingPath Career Consulting is seeking a results-driven Senior Career Coach to partner with professionals across industries to unlock their next career milestone. This role combines 1:1 coaching, resume and LinkedIn optimization, and strategic career planning to help clients achieve tangible outcomes. You will work with mid-career and senior professionals, including leaders transitioning to new industries or seeking executive opportunities. This position is based in New York City with opportunities for flexible remote work.
As a Senior Career Coach, you will design client-centric roadmaps, deliver high-impact coaching sessions, and drive measurable progress using data-driven metrics. You will collaborate with a passionate team to scale our coaching programs and contribute to thought leadership, workshop design, and client success initiatives.

Responsibility
- Conduct 1:1 career coaching sessions to identify goals, skills, and gap-closing strategies.
- Develop customized career roadmaps, timelines, and action plans aligned with client objectives.
- Lead resume, cover letter, and LinkedIn profile optimization to maximize visibility and applicant matching.
- Coach clients through interview preparation, salary negotiation, and offer evaluation.
- Design and deliver group workshops and webinars on topics such as personal branding and job search strategy.
- Track client progress with metrics, provide ongoing feedback, and adjust plans as needed.
- Collaborate with the client success and marketing teams to scale coaching programs and maintain quality standards.
- Mentor junior coaches, contribute to best-practice playbooks, and maintain up-to-date industry knowledge.
Qualification
- Bachelor's degree in a related field; advanced degrees encouraged.
- Minimum 5 years of professional experience in career coaching, HR, recruiting, or talent development.
- Proven track record helping clients secure roles across industries and seniority levels.
- Exceptional communication, listening, presentation, and mentoring skills.
- Strong knowledge of resume writing, LinkedIn optimization, and storytelling techniques.
- Experience with job search strategies, networking, and employer outreach.
- Coaching certification or equivalent credential preferred (e.g., ICF, CEC).
