Responsibility
- Lead corporate transactional work including M&A, strategic partnerships, and financing rounds.
- Advise on regulatory compliance, risk management, and governance for clients across industries.
- Draft, review, and negotiate complex contracts, term sheets, and ancillary documents.
- Manage due diligence processes and coordinate cross-functional teams.
- Provide strategic legal advice to C-suite and board members.
- Supervise and mentor junior associates and paralegals.
- Develop and implement scalable legal processes to increase efficiency.
- Support litigation planning and coordination as needed.
Qualification
- Juris Doctor from an accredited U.S. law school; bar admission in New York.
- Minimum 6-8 years of corporate law experience, with a focus on M&A and compliance.
- Proven track record leading complex transactions and negotiation.
- Strong analytical, drafting, and communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple matters and work cross-functionally.
- High ethical standards and client-service orientation.
- Experience with regulatory investigations and corporate governance is a plus.
