Responsibility
- Lead and manage complex corporate transactions, including M&A, joint ventures, and commercial contracts.
- Provide strategic guidance on corporate governance, risk management, and regulatory compliance.
- Oversee due diligence processes, coordinate cross-functional teams, and manage third-party counsel as needed.
- Draft, review, and negotiate senior-level agreements with clients and counterparties.
- Mentor and develop junior associates, fostering a high-performance team culture.
- Develop and maintain strong client relationships, ensuring high-quality service and repeat business.
Qualification
- Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school; bar admission in New York or eligible for admission.
- Minimum 6-8 years of hands-on corporate and commercial law experience, ideally in a leading firm or in-house setting.
- Proven ability to lead negotiations, structure complex transactions, and manage senior client relationships.
- Excellent analytical, writing, and oral advocacy skills; strong attention to detail.
- Ability to work cross-functionally in a collaborative, fast-paced environment; sound judgment and ethical integrity.
- Experience with regulatory compliance, securities, antitrust, and data privacy considerations preferred.
