You will lead the design, integration, and verification of advanced military systems for national security programs. Responsibility
- Lead the architecture, integration, and verification of complex defense systems across subsystems.
- Develop and manage system requirements, conduct trade studies, and mitigate program risks.
- Collaborate with government customers, prime contractors, and suppliers to ensure successful program execution.
- Oversee system verification tests, modeling and simulation activities, analyze test data, and deliver actionable findings.
- Mentor junior engineers, review technical work, and contribute to proposals and technical documentation.
- Ensure compliance with security, export controls, and regulatory standards.
- Manage schedule, budget, and resources for system development and integration.
Qualification
- Bachelors degree in electrical, mechanical, aerospace or systems engineering; Masters preferred.
- Minimum 7 years of defense systems engineering experience or equivalent.
- Strong knowledge of MIL-STD and defense acquisition processes; experience with DOORS, SysML, and MATLAB/Simulink.
- Active or eligible for TS/SCI clearance; ability to obtain or maintain security clearance.
- Proven leadership and cross-functional collaboration skills; excellent written and verbal communication.
- Proven ability to work in high-stakes environments with tight deadlines and competing priorities.
- Willingness to travel up to 15% as required.
