Green Horizons Group is seeking a Senior Environmental Manager to lead our environmental programs across multiple sites in the Pacific Northwest. You will develop and implement programs to ensure regulatory compliance, reduce environmental footprint, and advance our sustainability goals. This role blends strategic leadership with hands-on program management, data-driven analysis, and cross-functional collaboration.
As a key member of the EHS and Sustainability team, you will drive risk assessments, oversee audits, and serve as a liaison with regulators, clients, and internal stakeholders.
Responsibility
- Develop and implement comprehensive environmental management plans aligned with regulatory requirements and corporate standards.
- Lead, mentor, and coordinate cross-functional teams for environmental compliance initiatives.
- Oversee regulatory permitting, reporting, and site audits across multiple facilities.
- Conduct risk assessments and implement corrective actions to reduce environmental impact and operational risk.
- Monitor key environmental metrics, prepare data-driven reports, and communicate findings to leadership and regulators.
- Drive training programs on environmental, health, and safety (EHS) policies and best practices.
Qualification
- Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Engineering, or related field; Master's preferred.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in environmental management, EHS, or sustainability roles.
- Strong knowledge of ISO 14001, EPA regulations, and WA Department of Ecology guidelines.
- Experience with audits, permits, reporting, and risk assessment methodologies.
- Proven data analysis, reporting, and stakeholder communication skills.
- Project management experience with the ability to lead cross-functional teams.
