GreenPath Sustainability is seeking a results-driven Senior Environmental Manager to lead our environmental stewardship and compliance programs across our Northwest operations. This pivotal role reports to the Director of Sustainability and collaborates with operations, supply chain, and EHS teams to advance sustainable practices that drive measurable impact.
As a strategic leader, you will shape policy, champion ISO 14001 alignment, manage regulatory reporting, and drive reductions in waste, emissions, and energy use. You’ll work in a fast-growing organization committed to scalable, data-driven environmental outcomes that support responsible business growth.
Responsibility
- Lead the design, implementation, and continuous improvement of the Environmental Management System (EMS) in alignment with ISO 14001.
- Manage permitting, regulatory reporting, audits, and liaison with federal, state, and local agencies.
- Conduct environmental risk assessments, performance tracking, and data analytics to identify reduction opportunities.
- Develop and monitor KPIs, dashboards, and budgets for environmental programs.
- Lead training and awareness programs for operations teams to foster a culture of compliance and sustainability.
- Collaborate with operations, supply chain, and R&D to minimize environmental footprint across products and processes.
- Oversee incident response, remediation planning, and escalation protocols.
- Manage supplier environmental performance and supplier risk assessments.
Qualification
- Bachelor's degree in environmental science, engineering, or related field; master's preferred.
- 5+ years in environmental management, EHS, or regulatory compliance; ISO 14001 experience highly desirable.
- Solid knowledge of environmental regulations, permitting processes, and reporting at federal, state, and local levels.
- Proven experience implementing EMS, data analytics, and benchmarking; proficient in MS Excel and environmental software.
- Strong leadership, communication, and cross-functional project management skills.
- Certifications such as CEM, CSP, or ISO 14001 Lead Auditor are a plus.
- Willingness to travel up to 10-15% as needed.
