Join GreenWave Solutions as a Senior Environmental Manager in Seattle, WA. You will lead the development and execution of environmental programs that ensure regulatory compliance, advance sustainability, and reduce risk across multiple sites. As a critical member of our Environmental, Health and Safety team, you will partner with operations, product development, and external regulators to deliver measurable environmental performance and continuous improvement.
Responsibility
- Lead the design, implementation, and management of environmental programs covering regulatory compliance, spill prevention, air and water permits, and waste management.
- Oversee ISO 14001 alignment, audit readiness, corrective action tracking, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Aggregate, analyze, and report environmental performance data to leadership, regulators, and external stakeholders.
- Collaborate with operations, safety, and sustainability teams to embed sustainability across site activities and product lifecycles.
- Lead incident investigations, root-cause analyses, and the development of preventive and corrective actions.
- Manage budgets, supplier relationships, and program expenditures to maximize value and efficiency.
- Coordinate site inspections, maintain records, and stay ahead of evolving environmental regulations.
Qualification
- Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Engineering, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.
- 5+ years of experience in environmental management, EHS, or regulatory compliance roles.
- Strong knowledge of federal, state, and local environmental regulations; experience with ISO 14001 is highly desirable.
- Proficient in data analysis, KPIs, and sustainability reporting; ability to translate data into actionable insights.
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and stakeholder management skills across cross-functional teams.
- Project management experience with the ability to lead multiple sites and complex initiatives.
- Professional certifications such as CEM or QEP are a plus.
