GreenFuture Technologies is hiring a Senior Environmental Manager to lead our environmental stewardship and regulatory compliance programs across multiple sites. This role drives energy efficiency, waste reduction, and water quality initiatives while aligning with our strategic goals and industry standards.
The ideal candidate combines hands-on environmental management experience with strong leadership, communication, and data analytics skills to deliver measurable outcomes.
Responsibility
- Lead and coordinate environmental compliance programs across facilities, ensuring adherence to local, state, and federal requirements.
- Develop, implement, and monitor environmental management systems (EMS) aligned with ISO 14001 standards.
- Manage air permitting, wastewater, hazardous waste, and recycling programs to minimize risk and cost.
- Lead environmental incident investigations and root-cause analyses with corrective action plans.
- Drive sustainability reporting, data analytics, and KPIs to demonstrate progress to leadership and stakeholders.
- Collaborate with operations, safety, and engineering teams to embed sustainability into process design and project launches.
- Provide training and coaching to staff on compliance, best practices, and change management.
Qualification
- Bachelor's degree in environmental science, engineering, or related field; master's preferred.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in environmental management, compliance, or EHS roles.
- Strong knowledge of environmental regulations (EPA, state programs) and resource permitting.
- Proven experience implementing EMS (ISO 14001) and sustainability initiatives.
- Excellent data analysis, reporting, and proficiency with Excel; experience with GIS considered a plus.
- Strong communication, leadership, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
- Project management experience and ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
