TerraNova Environmental is seeking a Senior Environmental Manager to lead our environmental strategy in the Boston region. You will drive compliance, sustainability programs, and risk mitigation across our operations. You will partner with operations, facilities, and executives to ensure safe, compliant, and responsible environmental performance. Your responsibilities include developing and tracking environmental KPI, managing regulatory reporting, and guiding ESG disclosures. You'll lead audits, incident investigations, and continuous improvement initiatives that reduce risk and optimize performance.

Responsibility
- Lead and oversee environmental compliance programs to ensure adherence to federal, state, and local regulations.
- Manage environmental permits, reporting for air, water, and waste, and permit renewals.
- Design and implement sustainability initiatives and continuous improvement projects across facilities.
- Conduct environmental risk assessments, incident investigations, and root-cause analyses.
- Partner with operations, EHS, facilities, and senior leadership to embed sustainability into site planning and decision making.
- Capture, analyze, and report ESG data; prepare disclosures and external communications as needed.
- Oversee budgets, contractor management, training programs, and supplier due diligence.
- Lead internal and external audits, drive corrective actions, and ensure timely closure of findings.
Qualification
- Bachelor’s degree in environmental science, engineering, or related field; Master’s preferred.
- 5+ years of environmental management or EHS experience with regulatory compliance.
- Strong knowledge of federal and state environmental regulations (EPA, RCRA, Clean Air/Water acts).
- Experience with air and wastewater permits, hazardous waste management, and spill prevention.
- Proven track record in ESG reporting, data analysis, and KPI development.
- Excellent communication, stakeholder engagement, and project management skills.
- Proficiency in EHS software, data analytics tools, and Microsoft Office.
- Professional certifications such as CEM, CHMM, or CPSM are a plus.
