Job description

Join our premium events team at Luminary Events Group in New York City. We curate and execute high-profile corporate conferences, product launches, and experiential activations for a global client base. This role offers a dynamic, fast-paced environment where no two days are the same.

As a Senior Event Manager, you will own the end-to-end lifecycle of multiple programs, partner with stakeholders, and ensure flawless execution—from initial brief through on-site delivery and post-event analysis. You’ll collaborate with marketing, operations, and creative teams, and lead cross-functional vendor relationships.

Responsibility

  • Lead end-to-end planning for 15-25 events annually, including scoping, budgeting, vendor selection, and timeline creation.
  • Manage budgets, forecasts, and cost controls to maximize ROI while maintaining high-quality outcomes.
  • Source, negotiate, and manage contracts with venues, suppliers, caterers, AV, and production partners.
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive project plans, risk registers, and contingency strategies.
  • Oversee on-site event execution, staffing, production logistics, and attendee experience.
  • Coordinate with marketing, creative, and client teams to ensure brand consistency and compelling program narratives.
  • Conduct post-event analyses, deliver actionable insights, and produce comprehensive post-event reports.

Qualification

  • Bachelor’s degree in Event Management, Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in professional event management, preferably with corporate or enterprise-level programs.
  • Proven track record delivering complex events on time and within budget.
  • Strong vendor negotiation, contract management, and relationship-building skills.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and cross-functional collaboration abilities.
  • Proficiency with project management tools, CRM systems, and MS Office; familiarity with event technology is a plus.
  • Ability to travel up to 25% and manage multiple programs concurrently.
