Pulsewave Events is seeking a Senior Event Manager to lead high profile live events, conferences, and experiential campaigns in New York City. You will own end-to-end production, manage cross-functional teams, and ensure flawless guest experiences.
In this role you will partner with clients, marketing, creative, and operations to design creative concepts, build practical production plans, and deliver outstanding attendee experiences. You will thrive in a fast paced, high energy environment and help shape the growth of a premier events agency.
Responsibility
- Lead end to end event lifecycle from concept to post event analysis
- Develop and manage budgets, timelines, and risk plans
- Source, negotiate with and manage vendors, venues, and exhibitors
- Oversee on-site operations, registration, stage production, AV, and catering
- Collaborate with marketing and client teams to ensure brand aligned experiences
- Manage cross-functional teams and external partners; mentor junior staff
- Measure success, collect insights, and deliver post-event ROI reports
Qualification
- 6+ years in event management in agency or corporate setting
- Proven track record delivering large-scale events in NYC or similar markets
- Strong budget management and vendor negotiation skills
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management
- Ability to manage multiple events in parallel; travel as needed
- Proficiency with event tech and platforms such as Cvent and CRM tools
- Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience
