Join Lumina Nexus Events as a Senior Event Manager and own the strategy, logistics, and execution of premier corporate events in the New York market.
You will lead cross-functional teams, manage multimillion-dollar budgets, secure premium venues, and deliver memorable attendee experiences that advance our clients' brands. This role blends strategic planning with hands-on leadership in a fast-paced, premium agency environment.
Responsibility
- Lead end-to-end event lifecycle from concept to on-site execution for corporate conferences, product launches, and brand experiences
- Develop comprehensive event budgets, timelines, and procurement plans to achieve ROI targets
- Source, negotiate, and manage venues, vendors, caterers, AV, and production partners
- Oversee cross-functional collaboration with marketing, sales, operations, and creative teams to ensure brand alignment
- Lead on-site management, risk assessment, safety and accessibility compliance, and post-event debriefs
- Negotiate contracts, optimize costs, and monitor vendor performance against SLAs
- Analyze event metrics, attendee feedback, and lead attribution to inform future strategies
Qualification
- Bachelor or higher in marketing, communications, hospitality, or related field
- 7+ years in live events management, with corporate or agency experience
- Proven track record delivering large-scale events with complex logistics and budgets
- Strong vendor management, negotiation, and contract administration skills
- Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management abilities
- Proficiency with event management software such as Cvent or Aventri and analytics tools; advanced Excel skills
- Willingness to travel up to 25 percent and adapt to shifting priorities
