MSIG Singapore, a respected member of the MS&AD Insurance Group, is hiring for a Senior Executive/Executive in Claims Services for Property & Casualty with a healthcare focus. Responsibility

  • Manage end-to-end claims handling for property and casualty losses with a focus on healthcare-related claims, ensuring timely investigations, accurate coverage determinations, and settlements within authority.
  • Review policy terms, endorsements, and exclusions to interpret coverage and optimize outcomes for clients while protecting the company’s interests.
  • Coordinate medical case management, provider networks, and third-party adjusters; liaise with insureds, medical professionals, brokers, and internal teams to resolve complex claims.
  • Monitor reserves, conduct file reviews for accuracy, prepare statements of loss, and provide regular reporting to senior management.
  • Drive process improvements and best practices; ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal quality standards.
  • Mentor and coach junior claims staff; contribute to training materials and knowledge sharing across the team.
  • Collaborate with underwriting, risk control, and finance to support product development, pricing insights, and risk management initiatives.
  • Deliver high-quality customer service, manage escalations, and maintain clear, proactive communication with all stakeholders.

Qualification

  • Bachelor’s degree in insurance, business, or a related field; professional designations such as CPCU or ACII are a plus.
  • Minimum 5 years of claims handling experience in property and casualty insurance, with healthcare experience considered an advantage.
  • Solid understanding of Singapore regulatory requirements (Insurance Act, PDPA) and claims handling standards.
  • Proficiency with claims systems and data analytics tools; ability to analyze complex files and extract actionable insights.
  • Excellent analytical, negotiation, and decision-making skills; strong attention to detail and risk awareness.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills; ability to collaborate effectively with insureds, providers, brokers, and internal teams.
