As a Trade Finance Senior Executive, you will be responsible for handling end-to-end trade finance processes, including Letter of Credit (LC) management, shipment documentation, and both export and import operations. Your expertise will play a critical role in supporting seamless international trade transactions and ensuring compliance with regulations.
Responsibility
- Manage and process trade finance instruments, such as Letters of Credit (LC), Bank Guarantees, and Bills for Collection.
- Oversee import and export documentation and ensure compliance with internal and external policies.
- Coordinate shipment schedules and ensure timely delivery and receipt of documents
- Liaise with banks and financial institutions for trade-related transactions and facilities.
- Verify shipment and commercial documents, including invoices, packing lists, and transport documents.
- Monitor transaction status, update reports, and ensure accurate record-keeping.
- Support month-end reconciliation and reporting related to trade finance activities.
- Assist in the development and continuous improvement of trade finance processes and internal controls.
Qualification
- Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
- Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in trade finance, preferably within MNC or logistics sectors.
- In-depth understanding of export & import procedures, incoterms, and LC operations.
- Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to liaise effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
- Strong attention to detail and high level of accuracy in documentation and data management.
- Ability to multitask, work under tight deadlines, and adapt to a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of SAP or similar ERP systems is an added advantage.
