Pacific Crest Foods is seeking a passionate Senior Food Quality Assurance Manager to lead our quality program across our Seattle manufacturing campus. This is a hands-on leadership role responsible for ensuring safety, compliance, and continuous improvement from raw materials through finished products.
You’ll partner with R&D, Operations, and Supply Chain to build a robust quality culture, implement state-of-the-art QA systems, and protect brand integrity across all channels.

Responsibility
- Lead and maintain HACCP, GMP, SQF/IFS programs to ensure product safety and regulatory compliance.
- Plan and conduct internal audits and supplier audits; manage CAPA and corrective actions.
- Review and approve quality documentation, specifications, batch records, and release decisions.
- Oversee laboratory operations, method validation, and microbiological testing performance.
- Collaborate with R&D and Operations to support new product launches with quality at the forefront.
- Train, mentor, and develop QA staff; foster a culture of continuous improvement.
- Analyze quality metrics, lead root-cause analysis, and drive corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
- Interface with regulatory agencies as needed to maintain compliance and keep up with changing standards.
Qualification
- Bachelor's degree in Food Science, Microbiology, or related field; advanced degree preferred.
- 5+ years of quality assurance experience in food manufacturing or a closely related sector.
- Certified HACCP, GMP, and SQF/IFS auditor or equivalent.
- Strong knowledge of FDA/USDA regulations and food safety guidelines.
- Experience with quality management systems, CAPA, deviation investigations, and data analysis.
- Proven leadership, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
- Analytical mindset with problem-solving and root-cause analysis capabilities.
- Proficiency with statistical tools and Microsoft Office; experience with ERP systems is a plus.
