What you’ll do: lead and sustain process improvement initiatives, quantify impact, and mentor teammates to build a culture of operational excellence.
Responsibility
- Lead time and time-study analyses to establish accurate labor standards and capacity plans.
- Design and optimize lean layouts, line balancing, and takt time calculations to maximize throughput with minimal waste.
- Develop and validate capacity models, line simulations, and cost-to-serve analyses to support strategic decisions.
- Implement and monitor continuous improvement programs (Kaizen, Six Sigma) with measurable financial impact.
- Lead root-cause investigations for quality and productivity gaps, implementing durable corrective actions.
- Collaborate with manufacturing, quality, and procurement to standardize processes and documentation across facilities.
- Manage large-scale improvement projects from scoping through rollout, including risk assessment and change management.
- Coach and mentor junior engineers and shop-floor teams to foster a data-driven, problem-solving culture.
Qualification
