Responsibility

  • Lead and manage process improvement projects using Lean, Six Sigma, and DOE methodologies to reduce cycle times and defects.
  • Conduct time studies, capacity analysis, and line balancing to optimize workforce and equipment utilization.
  • Design and validate facility layouts, work cells, and material flow to minimize waste and improve throughput.
  • Develop standard work instructions, visual management, and error-proofing to sustain gains.
  • Collaborate with Manufacturing, Quality, Supply Chain, and Operations to translate business goals into actionable plans.
  • Lead kaizen events, track progress with metrics, and report results to leadership.
  • Mentor junior engineers and interns, building a culture of data-driven decision making.
  • Utilize ERP systems (SAP or equivalent) and data analytics tools to monitor performance and drive continuous improvement.

Qualification

  • Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering or related field; Master's preferred.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in manufacturing/assembly operations with proven Lean/Six Sigma impact.
  • Strong analytical skills, proficiency with time studies, line balancing, and work measurement techniques.
  • Experience with ERP systems (SAP/Oracle) and data analysis tools (Minitab, Excel, Tableau).
  • Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage multiple projects concurrently.
