We are seeking a Senior Industrial Production Engineer to lead continuous improvement initiatives, optimize line performance, and drive safety and quality standards across our production floor. This role blends hands-on process leadership with strategic optimization in a fast-paced, modern manufacturing environment.
What you will do: partner with production teams to optimize line performance, lead cross-functional improvement initiatives, and ensure alignment with safety and quality standards. This role offers a dynamic mix of hands-on problem-solving and strategic planning in a state-of-the-art facility.
Responsibility
- Lead multi-line production planning and scheduling to meet daily and weekly targets while optimizing capacity.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives (Lean, Six Sigma, Kaizen) to reduce waste and downtime and improve OEE.
- Develop and implement standard work, SOPs, and quality controls across production lines.
- Lead root cause analysis and corrective actions for quality deviations in partnership with Quality Assurance.
- Collaborate with Maintenance to implement preventive maintenance plans and minimize unplanned downtime.
- Coach and develop operators, technicians, and shift supervisors; ensure safety training and compliance.
- Monitor KPIs, prepare performance reports, and present insights to operations leadership.
Qualification
- Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field.
- 5+ years of relevant manufacturing/industrial production experience in a high-volume environment.
- Strong knowledge of Lean, Six Sigma, TPM, and process optimization; proven track record of delivering improvements.
- Proficiency with data analysis and manufacturing software (ERP/SAP, MES); excellent Excel and problem-solving skills.
- Demonstrated leadership and cross-functional collaboration across Production, Quality, Maintenance, and Supply Chain.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and change-management abilities; fluent in English.
- Experience with automation/robotics or automotive supply chains is a plus.
- Willingness to travel occasionally to support remote lines or supplier sites if required.
