Join NovaForge Manufacturing, a leader in advanced industrial production technologies. We are seeking a Senior Industrial Production Engineer to optimize manufacturing processes, lead continuous improvement, and ensure quality and efficiency across production lines.
In this role, you will collaborate with operations, maintenance, and quality teams to drive performance, reduce waste, and implement lean initiatives across shifts and facilities.
Responsibility
- Lead continuous improvement initiatives to optimize throughput, cycle times, and Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) across production lines.
- Analyze production data, identify bottlenecks, and implement data driven solutions using Lean and Six Sigma methodologies.
- Develop and maintain standard operating procedures, work instructions, and training materials for operators and technicians.
- Collaborate with maintenance to implement TPM plans and reduce unplanned downtime.
- Lead root cause investigations for quality issues and implement corrective actions following 8D or similar methodologies.
- Support new product introductions and process validations to ensure scalable and repeatable manufacturing.
- Mentor junior engineers and coordinate cross functional teams to achieve production targets.
Qualification
- Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.
- 5+ years of experience in manufacturing or industrial production environments.
- Strong knowledge of Lean, Six Sigma (Green Belt or higher), SPC, and TPM principles.
- Proficiency with data analysis tools such as Minitab, Excel, or SQL and experience with manufacturing dashboards.
- Experience with ERP or MES systems and comprehensive process documentation.
- Excellent problem solving, communication, and cross functional collaboration skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects with strong prioritization and time-management skills.
- Willingness to occasionally support on-call or shift coverage as needed.
