NexaTech Innovations is seeking a strategic and hands-on Senior Intellectual Property Counsel to protect our fast-growing portfolio of technologies. This role combines patent and trademark prosecution, licensing, and cross-functional collaboration to shape the company's global IP strategy.

We value inventors who blend deep legal expertise with business acumen, and who thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

Responsibility

  • Manage patent prosecution and examination processes, including drafting and filing patent applications, office action responses, and coordination with outside counsel.
  • Oversee trademark portfolio management, including clearance, filing, monitoring, enforcement, and renewal strategies across multiple jurisdictions.
  • Negotiate and draft IP licensing agreements, collaboration agreements, NDAs, and technology transfer arrangements with partners, vendors, and customers.
  • Provide proactive IP risk assessment, due diligence for partnerships and M&A, and support product compliance.
  • Collaborate with product, engineering, marketing, and business development teams to embed IP considerations into product roadmaps and go-to-market plans.

  • Minimum 6 years of in-house or law firm experience in intellectual property, with emphasis on patent prosecution and trademark management.
  • Demonstrated track record in patent drafting and prosecution, preferably in software, hardware, AI, semiconductors, or biotech.
  • Strong understanding of IP laws and regulations across major jurisdictions; experience with international filings is a plus.
