HarborPoint Media is a fast-paced digital newsroom focused on accurate, high-impact storytelling. We seek a Senior Journalist to join our New York City team, reporting on breaking news, politics, investigations, and enterprise features for our global audience.

Responsibility
- Develop and produce compelling, accurate stories across print, web, and social media platforms.
- Lead investigative reporting with rigorous sourcing, data analysis, and documentation.
- Conduct interviews, verify information, and fact-check drafts to ensure ethical standards.
- Collaborate with editors, photographers, and producers to create multimedia storytelling packages.
- Meet tight deadlines while maintaining quality and attention to detail.
- Mentor junior reporters and contribute to editorial planning and brainstorming sessions.
- Pitch and develop enterprise stories with clear nut graf and narrative arc.
Qualification
- Bachelor's degree in journalism, communications, or a related field; equivalent newsroom experience considered.
- 5+ years of professional reporting experience in a newsroom or digital outlet.
- Demonstrated excellence in reporting, interviewing, and clear, engaging writing.
- Strong knowledge of AP style, fact-checking, and ethical journalism practices.
- Experience with data journalism, multimedia storytelling, and SEO best practices.
- Ability to work under pressure, manage multiple assignments, and meet deadlines.
- Strong collaboration skills and a commitment to newsroom culture and diversity.
- Willingness to relocate to New York, NY, or operate in a hybrid/onsite capacity as needed.
