Responsibility
- Lead and manage a portfolio of corporate and litigation matters for high-profile clients.
- Draft, negotiate, and review complex contracts, agreements, and regulatory filings.
- Develop legal strategies, oversee discovery, and advocate in court or arbitration as needed.
- Provide practical, business-oriented legal advice to management and stakeholders.
- Mentor and supervise junior associates, paralegals, and staff.
- Collaborate with partners to drive business development and client retention.
- Ensure compliance with applicable laws and risk management best practices.
Qualification
- Juris Doctor from an ABA-accredited law school; active bar admission in New York.
- Minimum 5-7 years of experience in corporate law and/or civil litigation.
- Demonstrated track record in contract drafting, negotiations, and successful advocacy.
- Strong analytical, research, and writing skills with attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management; ability to manage multiple matters simultaneously.
- Proficiency with legal tech, case management, and e-discovery tools; team leadership capabilities.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a dynamic, client-focused environment.
