Responsibility
- Lead and manage a portfolio of corporate and litigation matters from inception through resolution, ensuring timely delivery and client satisfaction.
- Provide strategic legal counsel, risk assessment, and practical solutions for complex business transactions and disputes.
- Draft, review, and negotiate contracts, agreements, pleadings, and settlement documents.
- Supervise and mentor junior associates; coordinate with paralegals and cross-functional teams.
- Conduct comprehensive legal research, due diligence, and regulatory compliance reviews.
- Develop strong client relationships, identify new opportunities, and contribute to business development efforts.
- Maintain meticulous matter documentation, produce high-quality work product, and uphold professional ethics.
Qualification
- Juris Doctor (JD) from an ABA-accredited law school; active New York State bar admission.
- Minimum 5+ years of experience in corporate law, M&A, and/or commercial litigation.
- Proven ability to manage complex matters end-to-end and supervise junior lawyers.
- Outstanding drafting, negotiation, and oral advocacy skills.
- Strong research, analytical, and problem-solving abilities; detail-oriented and deadline-driven.
- Excellent client management, communication, and business development capabilities.
- Knowledge of regulatory frameworks (securities, antitrust, compliance) and risk management.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment; willingness to travel as needed.
