LexBridge Legal Consulting is seeking a proactive and results-driven Senior Legal Consultant to join our NYC team. This role provides high-impact legal advisory services to multinational clients, focusing on regulatory compliance, contract strategy, and risk mitigation. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver practical, business-minded legal solutions while upholding the highest standards of integrity.
As a client-facing consultant, you will translate complex legal concepts into actionable guidance, draft and negotiate agreements, and help shape governance frameworks that support scalable growth. Responsibility
- Provide strategic legal advisory on regulatory compliance, risk assessment, and corporate governance for a diverse client base.
- Draft, review, and negotiate complex commercial contracts and licensing agreements with precision and clarity.
- Lead due diligence, issue spotting, and risk analysis for mergers, acquisitions, and partnerships.
- Develop and implement governance, compliance, and ethics programs tailored to client needs.
- Advise on data privacy, security obligations, and cross-border data transfer issues in multi-jurisdictional contexts.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams including finance, risk, and operations to deliver pragmatic legal solutions.
- Mentor junior consultants, contribute to business development, and build lasting client relationships.
Qualification
- Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited U.S. law school; active bar admission in New York or equivalent jurisdiction.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in legal consulting, corporate law, or regulatory affairs, preferably with an advisory/consulting firm.
- Proven ability to translate complex legal concepts into actionable business guidance for executives and stakeholders.
- Strong contract drafting and negotiation skills with attention to risk allocation and commercial considerations.
- Extensive knowledge of regulatory frameworks (e.g., securities, privacy, antitrust) and governance best practices.
- Excellent written and verbal communication, presentation, and client-management skills.
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.
