Join a premier law advisory firm delivering strategic legal counsel to international clients. We are seeking a Senior Legal Consultant to guide contract strategy, regulatory compliance, and risk management on complex cross border matters.
In this role, you will collaborate with clients, in house teams, and external counsel to deliver practical, enforceable solutions while upholding the highest professional standards.
Responsibility
- Provide strategic legal advice on commercial contracts, licensing, and regulatory compliance across multiple jurisdictions.
- Lead contract negotiations, redlining, and risk assessment with senior stakeholders.
- Oversee due diligence for mergers and acquisitions and assist in drafting closing documents.
- Develop and implement governance frameworks, policies, and compliance programs.
- Interpret and apply UK law and relevant international frameworks (GDPR, AML/KYC, data privacy, competition).
- Draft, review, and negotiate complex outsourcing, services, and partner agreements.
- Train and mentor junior lawyers and non legal teams on risk management and policy changes.
Qualification
- Qualified solicitor or barrister with 8+ years of post qualification experience in commercial law, corporate governance, or regulatory compliance.
- Proven track record advising multinational clients and handling cross border transactions.
- Strong negotiation, drafting, and contract management skills.
- In depth knowledge of UK law and international frameworks (GDPR, AML/KYC).
- Excellent analytical, problem solving, and decision making abilities.
- Ability to translate complex legal concepts into practical business guidance for non legal stakeholders.
- Exceptional communication, presentation, and project management skills.
