Join Nexus Legal Advisory as a Senior Legal Consultant in London. You will counsel blue-chip clients on complex commercial matters, regulatory compliance, and risk management, helping them navigate an evolving legal landscape with practical, business-focused advice.

Responsibility
- Provide strategic legal guidance to clients on corporate, commercial, and regulatory matters.
- Draft, review, and negotiate complex commercial contracts and service agreements.
- Conduct comprehensive legal risk assessments and due diligence for transactions.
- Assist clients with compliance programs, privacy, anti-corruption, and governance issues.
- Lead and mentor junior consultants, delivering high-quality work on tight timelines.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams including finance, operations, and risk management.
- Design and deliver practical training sessions on legal topics and regulatory updates.
Qualification
- Qualified solicitor in England and Wales with at least 6 years PQE or equivalent experience in corporate/commercial law.
- Proven experience advising on regulatory compliance, data protection, AML, sanctions, and corporate governance.
- Exceptional drafting, negotiation, and contract management skills.
- Strong client-facing skills with the ability to translate legal concepts into actionable business advice.
- Ability to manage multiple engagements and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Proactive, collaborative, and solution-oriented mindset with strong ethics and integrity.
- Professional certifications such as CIPP/E, CIAB, or other relevant credentials are a plus.
