In this role, you will empower clients with actionable advice, draft robust agreements, and lead risk assessments that protect value while enabling growth. You’ll work with cross-functional teams and mentor junior staff, delivering premium service in a fast-paced, results-driven environment.
Responsibility
- Provide strategic legal guidance on complex commercial and regulatory matters for diverse clients in technology, finance, and healthcare.
- Draft, review, and negotiate high-stakes contracts, licensing, NDAs, and vendor agreements.
- Lead due diligence, risk assessments, and remediation plans for M&A and financing transactions.
- Advise on corporate governance, compliance programs, data privacy, and anti-corruption controls.
- Interface with C-suite clients and internal stakeholders; present clear, actionable recommendations.
- Mentor and manage junior attorneys and paralegals; contribute to knowledge share and playbooks.
- Develop scalable templates and playbooks to accelerate client engagement and consistency.
Qualification
- Juris Doctor (ABA-accredited) with active bar admission in New York or ability to obtain; equivalent international qualification considered.
- Minimum 6 years of legal consulting, in-house, or private practice focusing on corporate, commercial, and regulatory matters.
- Strong drafting, negotiation, and oral advocacy skills with a client-centric approach.
- Solid knowledge of securities regulations, anti-corruption, data privacy, and antitrust frameworks.
- Proven ability to manage multiple engagements, work independently, and deliver high-quality outputs on tight timelines.
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and project management capabilities.
- Prior experience in a consulting environment or with cross-border clients is a plus.
