In this full-time role, you will provide actionable legal guidance to executives, lead negotiations, and ensure our compliance posture remains robust in a dynamic market.
Responsibility
- Lead negotiations and drafting of complex commercial contracts and licensing agreements.
- Provide strategic legal counsel to executives on regulatory, risk, and business matters.
- Oversee corporate governance, compliance programs, and policy development.
- Draft, review, and negotiate high-stakes agreements, including M&A, joint ventures, and strategic partnerships.
- Coordinate external counsel and manage litigation support when needed.
- Conduct due diligence and integration support for transactions.
- Mentor and develop junior attorneys and paralegals, fostering a high-performance legal team.
- Monitor regulatory changes and implement proactive risk mitigation across the organization.
Qualification
- Juris Doctor (JD) from an ABA-accredited law school; admitted to the New York State Bar.
- Minimum 7 years of corporate, transactional, or securities law experience, with in-house or top-tier law firm exposure.
- Proven track record in negotiating and drafting complex contracts and leading cross-functional teams.
- Strong analytical, communication, and leadership skills; able to translate legal risk into business strategy.
- In-depth knowledge of regulatory compliance, corporate governance, and risk management.
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
- Excellent drafting, research, and negotiation abilities with meticulous attention to detail.
