Responsibility
- Lead and manage complex commercial litigation matters from intake to resolution.
- Draft pleadings, motions, briefs, and memoranda with precision and clarity.
- Develop trial strategy, supervise discovery, and coordinate with junior associates.
- Assess case risk, budgets, and resource needs; provide timely updates to clients and partners.
- Oversee case management, client communication, and dispute resolution strategies.
- Conduct witness interviews, prepare expert witnesses, and coordinate with trial teams.
- Negotiate settlements and advocate persuasively in court and arbitration settings.
- Mentor junior attorneys and contribute to professional development initiatives.
Qualification
- Juris Doctor from an ABA-accredited law school; active New York bar membership.
- Minimum 6-8 years of commercial litigation experience in law firms or corporate settings.
- Proven track record in trial preparation, motion practice, and strong oral advocacy.
- Excellent legal research and writing skills; ability to craft compelling arguments.
- Strong client counseling, negotiation, and relationship-management abilities.
- Demonstrated leadership, teamwork, and mentoring capabilities.
- Exceptional organizational skills and proficiency with case-management and discovery tools.
