Responsibility
- Lead process design and optimization for manufacturing lines to improve cycle times and quality metrics
- Develop and implement standard work, work instructions, and visual management tools
- Lead DMAIC projects to eliminate waste and reduce total cost of ownership
- Collaborate with R&D, supply chain, and maintenance to ensure robust production readiness
- Lead Kaizen events and mentor floor teams on problem solving and data analysis
- Interpret SPC data, create control plans, and monitor key performance indicators
- Drive safety, quality, and regulatory compliance on the manufacturing floor
- Mentor junior engineers and support onboarding and training
Qualification
- Bachelor degree in Mechanical, Industrial, or manufacturing engineering; Master degree preferred
- 5+ years of experience in manufacturing engineering or process improvement
- Proven experience with lean manufacturing, six sigma, and continuous improvement
- Strong data analysis skills with Minitab, Excel, or similar tools
- Experience with CAD, PLC programming, automation, and MES/ERP systems
- Excellent project management and cross functional collaboration
- Strong communication and leadership abilities; ability to coach teams on problem solving
