NovaForge Industries is seeking a Senior Manufacturing Engineer to lead process improvements in a high-volume production environment. This role combines hands-on problem solving with strategic optimization to elevate yield, reduce cycle times, and enhance safety.

Responsibility
- Lead and execute continuous improvement initiatives to optimize throughput, yield, cycle time, and Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE).
- Design, analyze, and validate manufacturing processes using Lean, Six Sigma, DOE, and FMEA.
- Collaborate with production, quality, maintenance, and supply chain to implement standard work and visual management.
- Lead trials, root-cause analysis, and corrective actions; manage Kaizen events.
- Develop capability through training, standard work documentation, and SOP updates.
- Support New Product Introductions (NPI) and process validations (PPAP) to ensure robust manufacturing readiness.
Qualification
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Industrial, Manufacturing Engineering or related field.
- 5+ years of manufacturing engineering experience in a high-volume plant.
- Strong Lean/Six Sigma expertise; Green Belt or Black Belt certification preferred.
- Proficiency with DOE, FMEA, statistical analysis (Minitab, JMP) and data-driven decision making.
- Experience with CAD (SolidWorks or AutoCAD) and automation/robotics exposure.
- Knowledge of OSHA safety standards and environmental compliance; excellent documentation practices.
- Strong communication, collaboration, and project management skills; ability to lead cross-functional teams.
