As a key member of the operations team, you will lead cross-functional projects from concept through implementation, analyze production data, develop SOPs, and mentor junior engineers. This role offers hands-on impact, exposure to advanced manufacturing technologies, and a path to leadership.
Responsibility
- Lead and manage continuous improvement projects across assembly and fabrication lines.
- Analyze production metrics to identify bottlenecks and implement data-driven solutions.
- Develop and maintain standard operating procedures and work instructions.
- Collaborate with maintenance to drive equipment reliability and PM programs.
- Lead line balancing, layout optimization, and workflow improvements.
- Facilitate Lean initiatives, waste reduction, and 5S enhancements.
- Mentor junior engineers and provide technical training to production teams.
Qualification
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Industrial, Manufacturing Engineering or a related field.
- 5+ years of hands-on manufacturing engineering experience in a production environment.
- Strong knowledge of Lean, Six Sigma (Black Belt preferred) and continuous improvement methodologies.
- Experience with data analysis tools (Excel, Power BI, SQL) and problem-solving methodologies.
- Familiarity with ERP/MRP systems, MES, and SPC in a manufacturing setting.
- Excellent communication, project management, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
