Azure Ocean Shipping is seeking a Senior Maritime Navigation Specialist to join our Asia-Pacific operations in Singapore. You will lead voyage planning, optimize routing, and ensure safe passage using the latest navigation systems and data analytics.

Responsibility
- Lead comprehensive voyage planning, routing, and ETA estimation using ECDIS, ARPA, AIS, and radar systems.
- Monitor weather, currents, tides, and maritime traffic to ensure safe and efficient passage.
- Prepare and present navigation briefs for bridge teams and pilots; conduct risk assessments and contingency planning.
- Ensure full compliance with SOLAS, COLREGs, ISM, and corporate navigation standards.
- Maintain and calibrate navigation equipment; complete accurate voyage and equipment logs.
- Mentor junior navigators and coordinate with operations, bunkering, and port agents to optimize port calls.
- Lead crisis response and bridge resource management during emergencies and heavy weather.
- Collaborate with Fleet Operations to implement fuel-saving routing and performance improvements.
Qualification
- Master or Chief Mate license eligible under STCW; minimum 5+ years as a deck officer or naval navigator on commercial vessels.
- Proven expertise in ECDIS, ARPA, AIS, radar, and bridge systems; proficient in voyage planning software.
- Strong knowledge of COLREGs, SOLAS, MARPOL, and ISM/ISPS standards.
- Excellent analytical, decision-making, and communication skills; ability to perform under pressure.
- Fluent in English; additional languages are a plus; willingness to work shifts and travel internationally.
- Experience with weather routing, fuel optimization, and voyage optimization strategies.
- Detail-oriented with strong documentation and reporting abilities; able to train and lead teams.
