Join Northspire Insights as a Senior Market Research Analyst in New York City. You will design and execute actionable research programs across B2B and B2C categories, turning data into strategic recommendations for product, marketing, and growth teams. This role blends qualitative and quantitative methodologies, requiring strong storytelling, stakeholder influence, and a passion for consumer insights.
Collaborate with cross-functional partners to develop research roadmaps, manage end-to-end projects, and deliver insights that drive business impact. You will be a trusted advisor to senior leadership, translating complex data into clear, actionable business implications.
Responsibility
- Conduct and lead end-to-end market research programs (qualitative and quantitative) to uncover consumer insights and market opportunities.
- Design survey instruments, build sampling plans, and manage data collection with external agencies or internal teams.
- Employ statistical analysis and data visualization to translate findings into actionable business recommendations.
- Partner with product, marketing, and strategy teams to shape roadmaps and go-to-market plans.
- Manage project timelines, budgets, and stakeholder communication to ensure timely delivery.
- Present insights to senior leadership and craft compelling narratives with data-driven storytelling.
- Mentor junior researchers and contribute to a scalable research framework.
Qualification
- Bachelor's or master's in Market Research, Statistics, Economics, or related field; advanced degree preferred.
- 4+ years of experience in market research, consumer insights, or strategic analytics.
- Proficiency with qualitative and quantitative research methods, survey design, sampling, and instrument development.
- Strong analytical skills; proficiency in Excel, SQL, SPSS/R/Python; data visualization (Tableau, Power BI).
- Experience with survey platforms (Qualtrics, SurveyMonkey) and moderation/focus group facilitation.
- Excellent written and verbal communication; ability to tell a story with data; comfortable presenting to executives.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and influence stakeholders; strong project management skills.
