Job description

Nova Insights Analytics is seeking a results-driven Senior Market Research Analyst to join our growth-minded team in New York. You will lead end-to-end research projects across consumer and B2B markets, translating complex data into clear, actionable business recommendations.

As a senior member of the research group, you will design studies, manage data collection, analyze findings, and communicate insights to senior leadership. You will work cross-functionally with product, marketing, and sales teams to guide strategy with rigorous evidence.

Responsibility

  • Design and execute market research studies (qualitative and quantitative) to uncover customer needs, preferences, and unmet opportunities.
  • Lead survey development, sampling plans, data collection, and data quality assurance.
  • Analyze data using appropriate statistical techniques and translate findings into actionable insights and business recommendations.
  • Collaborate with product, marketing, and sales teams to define research objectives and deliverables.
  • Create compelling client-ready reports, dashboards, and visualizations that tell a clear story.
  • Present findings to senior leadership and cross-functional stakeholders, influencing strategic decisions.

Qualification

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Economics, Statistics, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.
  • 5+ years of market research or data analytics experience, agency or client-side.
  • Proficiency with SPSS, Stata, R, Python, SQL, and data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI).
  • Experience designing and executing surveys, interviews, and focus groups; strong methodological rigor.
  • Excellent analytical, quantitative, and qualitative reasoning with strong storytelling skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication; ability to present complex insights clearly to non-technical audiences.
  • Project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and tight deadlines.
