Join our leading market research team as a Senior Market Research Analyst in New York City. You will translate complex data into actionable insights that shape product strategy, marketing campaigns, and business decisions. This role blends quantitative rigor with storytelling, enabling stakeholders to make evidence-based choices.
As part of the insights group, you’ll design studies, manage surveys, analyze datasets, present findings, and collaborate with product, marketing, and data science teams.
Responsibility
- Design and execute quantitative and qualitative market research studies to inform product and go-to-market strategies.
- Develop survey questionnaires, sampling plans, and data collection protocols; ensure data quality and representativeness.
- Analyze large datasets using SQL, Excel, and statistical tools; produce insights, dashboards, and visualizations.
- Prepare and present executive-ready reports that tell a data-driven story and influence decisions.
- Partner cross-functionally with Product, Marketing, Finance, and Data Science to translate insights into actions.
- Manage vendor relationships, fieldwork, and project timelines; ensure on-time delivery and high-quality results.
- Monitor market trends, competitive landscape, and customer segments to generate ongoing insights.
Qualification
- Bachelor's degree in Market Research, Economics, Statistics, Marketing, or a related field; Master’s preferred.
- 3+ years of market research experience in consumer or tech sectors; B2B experience is a plus.
- Proficiency in SQL, Excel, and at least one statistical tool (R, Python/pandas, SPSS, or SAS).
- Experience with survey design, questionnaire development, sampling strategies, and data cleaning.
- Strong data visualization skills using Tableau, Power BI, or similar tools; ability to tell compelling data-driven stories.
- Excellent written and verbal communication; able to present findings to non-technical stakeholders.
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously.
