Nova Insight Research is seeking a results-driven Senior Market Research Analyst to join our growing analytics team in Boston. You will design and execute mixed-method research programs, translate insights into strategic recommendations, and collaborate with product, marketing, and sales to influence go-to-market strategies.
In this role you will own end-to-end research projects, from scoping and survey design to analysis and storytelling with data visualizations. You will balance quantitative rigor with qualitative nuance to deliver actionable insights that optimize customer experience and competitive position.
Responsibility
- Lead end-to-end market research projects from scoping to actionable insights.
- Design and implement surveys, interviews, and focus groups to capture customer needs and market dynamics.
- Analyze quantitative data using tools such as SQL, R, Python, or SPSS; synthesize qualitative findings to support decision-making.
- Develop compelling dashboards and visualizations to communicate insights to cross-functional partners.
- Collaborate with product and marketing teams to translate insights into strategies, messaging, and prioritization.
- Monitor market trends, competitive landscape, and customer feedback to anticipate opportunities and risks.
- Establish rigorous research processes, including sampling, bias control, and data quality checks.
- Present findings to senior leadership and influence strategic planning.
Qualification
- Bachelor's degree in Market Research, Economics, Statistics, or related field; master's preferred.
- 5+ years of experience in market or customer research, with a track record of delivering impact.
- Proficiency in statistics and data visualization; experience with SQL, R, Python, or SPSS.
- Strong survey design, sampling, and qualitative research skills (interviews, focus groups).
- Experience with dashboards and visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI.
- Excellent storytelling and communication skills; ability to influence cross-functional stakeholders.
- Detail-oriented, with strong project management and time-management skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
