Responsibility
- Prepare and deliver advanced weather forecasts for diverse sectors including aviation, energy, and agriculture.
- Analyze and interpret atmospheric data using state-of-the-art modeling systems.
- Lead short-term and long-term climate research projects to enhance predictive capabilities.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and external partners to develop innovative meteorological solutions.
- Present findings and technical reports to stakeholders and at industry conferences.
- Mentor junior staff and contribute to team growth and knowledge sharing.
- Maintain strict adherence to data accuracy, reliability, and quality standards.
- Continuously monitor and adopt advancements in meteorological technologies and methodologies.
Qualification
- Master’s degree or higher in Meteorology, Atmospheric Science, or related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in operational meteorology or atmospheric research.
- Expertise in numerical weather prediction models (e.g., WRF, GFS).
- Proficiency with meteorological software, data visualization tools, and programming (Python, R, or MATLAB).
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Excellent communication and presentation abilities.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and in interdisciplinary teams.
- Authorization to work in the United States.
