Responsibility
- Lead daily weather forecasting and climate analytics utilizing advanced numerical models.
- Analyze meteorological datasets from satellites, radar, and ground stations for research and operational purposes.
- Interpret and communicate weather anomalies to diverse stakeholders, including government and commercial clients.
- Develop and enhance proprietary forecasting tools and algorithms.
- Prepare detailed technical reports and present findings to internal and external audiences.
- Mentor and support junior meteorologists and interns in professional growth and best practices.
- Engage with industry partners, contributing to consultancy projects and scientific publications.
Qualification
- Master’s degree or higher in Meteorology, Atmospheric Science, or related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in operational forecasting or atmospheric research.
- Proficiency in numerical weather prediction and statistical modeling techniques.
- Advanced knowledge of Python, MATLAB, or R for data analysis.
- Exceptional communication and presentation skills.
- Demonstrated publication or consultancy experience in meteorological science.
- Strong team orientation with a proactive, solution-driven mindset.
