Responsibility
- Lead the development and validation of numerical weather prediction models and climate analyses
- Design and implement data pipelines for large meteorological datasets
- Develop forecast products and decision support tools for aviation, energy, and emergency management
- Collaborate with software engineers to deploy scalable weather services in cloud environments
- Communicate findings to technical and non technical audiences through dashboards and reports
- Mentor junior team members and contribute to grant writing and publications
Qualification
- Master's or PhD in meteorology or atmospheric sciences or related field
- 5+ years in meteorology data analysis, forecast modeling, or climate research
- Proficiency in Python and scientific libraries, experience with MATLAB or R
- Strong stats and data visualization skills
- Experience with cloud platforms and big data tools (AWS, GCP, or Azure)
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
- Open to publishing and presenting research findings
