Responsibility
- Lead high-stakes negotiations with suppliers and customers to secure favorable terms and minimize risk.
- Develop and maintain negotiation playbooks, BATNAs, and pricing strategies to accelerate closures.
- Collaborate with Sales, Legal, Finance, and Operations to align terms with business goals and compliance requirements.
- Manage the end-to-end deal lifecycle from RFP to final agreement and signature.
- Coach, mentor, and elevate junior negotiators through structured training and feedback.
- Analyze data and market trends to optimize concessions, value engineering, and total cost of ownership.
- Build and sustain executive relationships with key vendors and partners.
- Identify risks, propose mitigations, and ensure contractual compliance and governance.
Qualification
- Bachelor’s degree required; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
- 6+ years of negotiation, procurement, or complex deal-making experience in a B2B environment.
- Proven track record closing multi-stakeholder agreements with measurable impact.
- Strong analytical capabilities and data-driven decision-making.
- Excellent communication, influencing, and conflict-resolution skills.
- Comprehensive understanding of contract terms, risk assessment, and regulatory compliance.
- Ability to navigate fast-paced environments and manage multiple negotiations concurrently.
- Proficiency with CRM, e-sourcing, and contract lifecycle management tools.
