NorthStar Aviation Group is seeking a Senior Pilot based in Seattle, WA. This full-time role offers a leadership path within a safety‑driven, high‑utilization aviation team. Eligible candidates hold ATP/ATPL, possess turbine experience, and demonstrate exceptional CRM and decision-making under pressure.
In this role, you will operate across a mixed fleet, lead flight operations, participate in safety programs, and contribute to training initiatives that elevate our standards of excellence.
Responsibility
- Lead safe, compliant flight operations across the fleet in accordance with FAA regulations and company SOPs.
- Conduct thorough flight planning including weather analysis, fuel planning, performance calculations, weight and balance, and contingency planning.
- Manage in-flight decision making, crew coordination, and CRM to optimize safety and efficiency.
- Perform pre-flight and post-flight duties, including checklists, systems monitoring, and debriefs.
- Mentor junior pilots, participate in recurrent training, and contribute to safety culture initiatives.
- Collaborate with dispatch and operations to optimize flight schedules and resource utilization.
- Maintain and renew certifications, medicals, and regulatory records with meticulous accuracy.
Qualification
- ATP or ATPL with current, valid FAA medical certificate (Class 1) or equivalent.
- 5+ years of turbine experience, with multi-engine jet experience preferred.
- 2,500+ total flight hours, including 1,000+ turbine hours.
- Strong knowledge of FAA regulations, flight operations, and safety management systems.
- Proven CRM and leadership skills with excellent communication and teamwork.
- Proficiency with flight planning tools, EFB, and modern avionics; comfortable with rapid adaptation to new technology.
- Type rating on current fleet or willingness to train for type ratings; eligibility to work in the United States.
