Join AuroraPrint Solutions, a premier provider of premium printing and packaging solutions in New York City. We are seeking a Senior Print Production Specialist to own complex print projects from prepress through final delivery. You will oversee workflow, quality control, and vendor coordination to guarantee exceptional color accuracy, on-time production, and cost efficiency across offset, digital, and large-format media.

This role combines strategic project management with hands-on technical know-how, collaborating with design, estimating, operations, and clients to elevate brand impact through print.

Responsibility

  • Own end-to-end print production workflow from prepress to delivery for offset, digital, and large-format projects.
  • Lead file preparation, color management, ICC profiling, trapping, imposition, and proofing to ensure accurate color and fidelity.
  • Collaborate with design, estimating, purchasing, and clients to develop production timelines and budgets.
  • Coordinate with pressroom operators, bindery teams, and finishing vendors to meet quality and schedule targets.
  • Review proofs with clients, approve final proofs, and communicate changes clearly to production teams.
  • Manage vendor relationships, negotiate pricing and capacity, and monitor quality metrics.
  • Implement process improvements, track production KPIs, and drive waste reduction and efficiency.

Qualification

  • 5+ years of print production or prepress experience in commercial printing or packaging.
  • Strong knowledge of offset and digital printing, color management (ICC profiles, G7/ISO 12647).
  • Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop) and common RIP software.
  • Experience with prepress workflows, trapping, imposition, PDF/X standards, and proofs.
  • Excellent project management, prioritization, and communication skills; able to manage multiple jobs simultaneously.
  • Bachelor's degree in Graphic Communications, Print Production, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
  • Familiarity with bindery finishing processes, vendor management, and basic costing.
