Job description
NovaTech Solutions is seeking a results-driven Senior Project Manager to lead complex technology initiatives across our product and engineering teams. This role blends strategic planning with hands-on delivery to ensure projects are completed on time, within scope, and on budget.
As a pivotal member of the PMO, you will collaborate with product managers, engineers, QA, and business stakeholders to translate strategy into actionable plans, drive risk management, and continuously improve delivery processes.
Responsibility
- Lead end-to-end project lifecycle from initiation to closure, ensuring alignment with business goals.
- Define project scope, objectives, milestones, and success metrics.
- Develop and manage detailed project plans, budgets, schedules, and risk registers.
- Coordinate cross-functional teams to deliver features with quality and speed.
- Identify and mitigate risks, issues, and scope changes; communicate impact to stakeholders.
- Facilitate effective stakeholder engagement and transparent status reporting.
- Implement PMO best practices and promote continuous process improvements.
Qualification
- Bachelor's degree in business, IT, or a related field; Master’s preferred
- 5+ years of professional project management experience, with a track record of delivering complex initiatives
- PMI PMP or equivalent certification preferred
- Strong knowledge of Agile and Waterfall methodologies
- Proficiency with project tools (MS Project, Jira, Confluence) and data-driven decision making
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and influence without authority
- Experience working with cross-functional, remote, or distributed teams
