At ApexSphere Solutions, a leading technology consulting firm, we are seeking a Senior Project Manager to guide complex, cross-functional initiatives from inception to delivery. This role blends strategic leadership with hands-on delivery, ensuring programs are aligned with business objectives and delivered on time, on budget, and with exceptional quality.
As a Senior Project Manager, you will partner with executives, product owners, and engineering leads to define scope, manage risk, and foster a high-performance team culture. The ideal candidate has a track record of delivering large-scale IT and transformation programs in fast-paced environments and excels at stakeholder management, communication, and problem-solving.
Responsibility
- Lead cross-functional programs from initiation to closure, ensuring alignment with strategic goals and measurable outcomes.
- Develop program roadmaps, milestones, budgets, and resource plans that enable timely delivery.
- Proactively identify, track, and mitigate risks, issues, and dependencies across multiple teams.
- Facilitate agile ceremonies, governance forums, and executive steering committees to drive decisions.
- Partner with product, engineering, and operations to optimize delivery processes and remove blockers.
- Provide transparent reporting to executives with dashboards, metrics, and actionable insights.
- Mentor and coach junior project managers and promote PMO standards and best practices.
Qualification
- 7+ years of project or program management experience in IT, software, or digital transformation.
- Proven track record delivering complex programs on time and within budget in a matrixed organization.
- Strong knowledge of methodologies (Agile, Scrum, Waterfall) and tools (Jira, MS Project, Smartsheet, Confluence).
- PMP, PgMP, PMI-ACP, or equivalent certification; bachelor's degree required.
- Exceptional communication, leadership, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to operate in a fast-paced environment with competing priorities and multiple stakeholders.
- Data-driven mindset with strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
