Join ApexWave Solutions as a Senior Project Manager in San Francisco and lead cross-functional initiatives from concept to delivery. This fast-paced, high-impact role requires owning complex programs, aligning stakeholders, and delivering value on time and on budget.
You will partner with Product, Engineering, Design, and Operations to drive successful outcomes in a PMO-ready environment. The ideal candidate is a results-oriented leader with a proven track record of delivering multi-team programs in Agile and Waterfall settings.
Responsibility
- Lead end-to-end project lifecycle across cross-functional teams from initiation through delivery.
- Define scope, objectives, success criteria, and manage detailed project plans, budgets, and resource allocation.
- Facilitate Agile ceremonies (Sprint Planning, Daily Standups, Reviews, Retrospectives) and ensure alignment with program goals.
- Proactively identify risks, issues, and dependencies; implement mitigation plans and escalation where necessary.
- Coordinate with Product, Engineering, Design, QA, and Operations to ensure timely delivery of features and improvements.
- Establish robust governance, status reporting, and stakeholder communications to drive transparency.
- Mentor junior project managers and contribute to PMO standards, processes, and tooling.
Qualification
- Bachelors degree in business, technology, or related field; PMP, PMI-ACP, or equivalent certification preferred.
- Minimum 5 years of hands-on project management experience delivering large-scale technology initiatives.
- Strong knowledge of Agile frameworks (Scrum, SAFe) and Waterfall methodologies.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence at all levels.
- Proficiency with PM tools such as Jira, MS Project, Smartsheet, or Asana; data-driven decision making and reporting.
- Demonstrated ability to manage budgets, schedules, risks, and dependencies in a matrixed organization.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities with attention to quality and detail.
