NovaTech Solutions is looking for a results-driven Senior Project Manager to lead complex programs spanning product development, operations, and client delivery. Based in New York, this role blends strategic thinking with hands-on execution in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. You will partner with executives and cross-functional teams to drive on-time, on-budget outcomes while maintaining the highest standards of quality and customer value.
As a senior leader within our delivery practice, you will own program-level planning, governance, and stakeholder communications, translating business goals into actionable roadmaps and day-to-day actions.
Responsibility
- Lead planning, execution, and delivery of large-scale programs with multiple workstreams.
- Define scope, milestones, budgets, risks, and success metrics; maintain transparent program dashboards.
- Coordinate cross-functional teams across product, engineering, design, and operations to meet commitments.
- Develop PMO artifacts (charters, plans, risk registers, RAID logs) and maintain program governance.
- Identify, escalate, and mitigate risks; implement corrective actions and contingency plans.
- Drive continuous improvement with post-program reviews and lessons learned.
- Communicate progress, trade-offs, and recommended actions to executives and stakeholders.
- Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and customer-focused delivery.
Qualification
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, IT, or a related field; MBA preferred.
- 5+ years of hands-on project/program management experience delivering complex initiatives.
- PMI PMP certification required or equivalent; experience with AgilePMO is a plus.
- Proven ability to manage budgets, schedules, and risk across multi-team programs.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Proficiency with project management tools (MS Project, Jira/Confluence, Smartsheet) and data-driven reporting.
- Experience in a fast-paced, matrixed environment; customer-focused and results-oriented.
- Ability to adapt in a dynamic environment; multilingual abilities are a plus.
