Responsibility
- Develop, implement, and maintain robust QA and food safety programs across production lines ensuring GMP, HACCP, SQF compliance.
- Lead internal and external audits, manage CAPA processes, and drive continuous improvement to reduce defects and nonconformances.
- Collaborate with R&D to scale new product launches while ensuring safety, quality, and consistency from pilot to full-scale production.
- Oversee supplier qualification, performance monitoring, and third-party testing to uphold rigorous quality standards.
- Coach and lead QA technicians and auditors; design training to sustain a culture of quality across the organization.
- Own deviation management, trend analysis, root-cause investigation, and quality metrics reporting to leadership.
Qualification
- Bachelor's degree in Food Science, Microbiology, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.
- 7-10 years of hands-on QA/QA management experience within food manufacturing or processing environments.
- Strong knowledge of GMP, HACCP, SQF, FDA CFRs, and global food safety regulations; audited experience.
- Proven ability to design, implement, and optimize quality systems including CAPA, deviation handling, and supplier quality management.
- Data-driven mindset with proficiency in SPC, trend analysis, and quality metrics reporting.
- Excellent communication, project management, and cross-functional collaboration skills; bilingual is a plus.
