Helix Quantum Institute is seeking a top-tier physicist to join our growing quantum materials division. This full-time role offers the opportunity to lead experimental programs, drive theoretical exploration, and collaborate with industry partners to accelerate real-world impact.
As a Senior Quantum Physicist, you will contribute to the design and execution of cutting-edge experiments, mentor team members, and shape the research roadmap in superconductivity and correlated electron systems.
Responsibility
- Lead and execute experimental programs in quantum materials and superconductivity.
- Design, optimize, and operate cryogenic and spectroscopic measurement setups.
- Develop and apply theoretical models and simulations to interpret data.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate discoveries into applications.
- Mentor graduate students and junior researchers; contribute to grant proposals.
- Publish high-impact results and present findings at national and international venues.
- Manage project milestones, budgets, and collaborations with industry partners.
Qualification
- PhD in Physics or related field, or equivalent research experience in quantum materials.
- Expertise in condensed matter physics, superconductivity, and quantum materials.
- Strong programming skills in Python and MATLAB; experience with C++ is a plus.
- Hands-on experience with cryogenics, low-temperature measurements, and advanced spectroscopy.
- Proven ability to lead research projects, publish in peer-reviewed journals, and secure funding.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills; ability to work in a fast-paced, interdisciplinary environment.
